“ Tasty and heavy sports bar comfort food. To women: don't be dissuaded by the sports pub theme! There's something for everyone here. They serve salads, chicken, margaritas. The $8 lunch special, actually turned out to be more like $14 (plus tax). That knocks a star. Spinner's ambience's sports, sports TV, casual and a bright bar area. It's very clean. Food: I ordered a lunch special of Buffalo hot wings (medium) with a half-'wich of a Turkey BLT. It was hot and delicious: the wings were doused completely in sauce. The Turkey 'wich was decent, but not Sourdough, like I asked. Presentation: Lunch served in a small metal tin tray on wax paper that's folded twice. Kitchen presents its dishes in a homely fashion,cleanly and evenly not plopped on a heap. Food tasted polished and cooked - ready to eat hot bar side finger food! No undercooking. Texture: Turkey BLT was on the wrong bread. Tomato, cheese and sauces taste clean, made scratch. I enjoyed the wings & sandwich on the same tray; it remained warm much longer! Delicious lunch. “ I am a fan because they are FAN-TASTIC! Placed an order (through Grubhub). We got a chicken parm sub and a eggplant parm sub. Both were extremely good and plentiful. The subs were cooked perfectly and it was difficult (but we did it) to finish them. They also came with chips or you could substitute fries with no up-charge. Guess what: we took the fries and they were wonderful. Not you basic plain fries. These had a coating that made them super good. The only problem with this food is that when I got on the scale the next day my scale yelled at me and said "one at a time!" I no doubt gained weight after stuffing myself with this sub. We will definitely be ordering again - perhaps in person next time :). ”

“ Here for lunch on a Saturday, several folks picking up food to go. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Great updated atmosphere. Multiple seating options or to go- order on line, catering, banquet room. Sports bar atmosphere multiple TVs, overhead music. Crust on pizza is buttery and similar texture to pizza hut pan. I like the small pepperoni, wings were juicy yet crispy! I will def be back!!! ”

“ Ordered delivery through their website (fulfilled by DoorDash). Ordering was easy on the website, easy to customize and delivery was smooth. We got everything in the estimated time frame and it tasted good. The only issue is we paid extra to upgrade from chips to fries with a wrap and still got chips. Now that I know this from this mistake I will stick with the chips, they were actually delicious! ”

“ Been a fan of Spinners for over 15 years when they were next door from where they are now. The moonshine wings were the best wings in town. The service is always decent and the vibe in there is super cool since renovations. The bar is really nice. The outdoor seating is awesome as well for nice days. Happy hour is from 3-6 and the specials are great. Last week was my first time dining in and I had a couple happy hour margaritas and enjoyed the patio seating. I also had The Vegan Classic. It was delicious, but the pepperoni could have been sliced much much thinner. There was like a block of pepperoni on there lol. It was still absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! ”

“ If you like Junior's, Cafe Madison, Madison Pour House, or the point you need to check out Spinners just off of Whitehall Avenue in Albany near St. Sophia's church. Owned by the BMT Hospitality Group, Spinners offers menu full of pub style food and pizza. Recently updated inside it is a great place to gather your friends for televised sports or family events. They offer Vegan meats and cheese options for pizza as well as plant-based seitan wings in a variety of flavors. When ordering pizza with vegan cheese we typically ask for it well done. The seitan wings are plentiful and filling. Recently we ordered the chunky Chicago pizza with extra marinara. Normally it only comes with chunky crushed tomatoes on top but we enjoy a little extra sauce under the cheese. Online ordering is easy to customize. One time we ordered over the phone and I wasn't clear about everything in the order being vegan. I was very pleased when the manager made it right and replaced our order with the vegan version we intended it to be. That's why I'll keep going back, friendly staff with great customer service!!! We also really enjoy the food and plant-based options so close to home. ”
